Why We Love
Ashoka
Ashoka, also known as Saraca asoca, is an important herb in Ayurveda. It is a sacred tree that has been used for centuries to treat various ailments and promote overall health and wellbeing. Ashoka is known to have astringent, cooling and anti-inflammatory properties which make it beneficial in treating bleeding gynecological conditions, menopause symptoms, piles, skin problems and other female reproductive issues.
It is also believed to be a spiritual herb with many benefits to the mind and body. Ashoka is said to help harmonize the hormonal system, reduce stress levels and improve emotional balance. It can also be used as a tonic for the female reproductive system to maintain its health.
The recommended dosage of Ashoka varies depending on the condition being treated but usually ranges from 2-4 grams per day. It can be taken in powder form or as an extract or decoction. It should always be taken with food or warm milk for best results.
