Why We Love

Samadhi

Samadhi is a term used in the ancient Indian practice of Ayurveda, which translates to “the science of life”. It refers to a state of deep spiritual absorption and oneness with the universe. In this state, one is able to transcend the physical world and experience a sense of unity with all things.

In Ayurveda, Samadhi is seen as an important part of achieving balance and harmony in one’s life. It can be achieved through various practices such as yoga, pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, chanting mantras, and contemplation. These practices help one to become more mindful and aware of their inner self, allowing them to connect more deeply with their true nature.

When one reaches Samadhi they are said to have reached a higher level of consciousness where they are free from suffering and attachment. This state brings about feelings of peace and joy that can last long after the experience has ended. It can also lead to greater clarity and understanding about oneself and the world around them.
